Company and Calamity

Balefrost removes his cloak. He was already a large creature, but it turns out, Balefrost was hunched over the entire time. Rising to his full size, Balefrost wiggles his giant claws and touches his gigantic fangs, which hang halfway down his torso. "It's been a while since I took that cloak off." The room begins to snow and tiny green sparkles begin to appear on Balefrost. The fight begins with Balefrost yawning, causing an absolutely massive blizzard to explode from his mouth.

Sky leaped in front of the group and put his arms in an X position and the blizzard swirled around them making a sphere of snow and icy wind "that's a neat trick." Sky said and pushed his arms outwards sending all the snow that had accumulated in the bubble outward In a burst. Tide clenched his fists and swung his hands forwards so his palms faced Balefrost. The snow under Balefrost became water and the water started heating up, Tide raised his hands slowly and the boiling water started, wrapping around Balefrost.

Balefrost stops and grows bothered by the heat, but does not appear to be injured. He continues to sparkle as he examines the boiling water. "You know hot water freezes really fast right?" He raises both claws and slams them into the snow, causing the rest of the room to temporarily bounce into the air from the shock wave. Using this opportunity, Balefrost rushes, grabs Tide, and proceeds to slam him into the ground repetitively.

Daybreak came out of nowhere, he flew through the air "STOP IT!" he screamed. His hand stopped short of Balefrost's face and he let out a blast of light temperarely blinding him. Daybreak continued levitateing in the air, punching and kicking with defense force "Stop it!" he shouted again. He pinned him against the wall, he was floating in front of him he pulled his fist back and a blade of light formed around his hand, and he got ready to swing. The blade looked...different...the edge that was closest to his hand was darker than normal, it seemed to be changing to a black color, slowly, it grew.

Balefrost was momentarily frightened by the endeavor, but as he continued to give off little green sparkles, his fear washed away. "You seem to have quite the predicament going on with that blade of yours." Balefrost took a deep breath and sighed. "I sense a great inner turmoil within you."

Daybreak held his position and clenched his fist, the blade kept pulsing like energy but the darkness stopped it's advance, he breathed through his teeth. He didn't move, his body seemed to be stuck but who knows what was going on in his mind. Balefrost could see, now that Daybreak was face to face with him, one of Daybreak's eye's looked as it use to, it reminded Balefrost of a sunrise...the other, however, resembled a sunset...The dark on the blade would ocassinally advance but then would retract again. The group wasn't sure what exactly to do. Daybreak remained in that position, he didn't move much but he was very much awake however. It was quiet...

Balefrost smirked. "Curious." Balefrost began to freeze over, while still sparkling green. "You have to make a choice. You can strike me and advance to the next room, or you can freeze with me."

Daybreak shouted and swung his fist at him, just before the blade hits Balefrost...it turned white, he blinked and his eye's became the blue and gold color that they use to be. The blade made contact with Balefrost and it fazed into him...the blade didn't seem to damage him but Daybreak's fist did as he slammed it against him once, "Don't hurt my friends ever again." Daybreak said. The Blade then burst into an explosion of light and Daybreak was flung backwards by his own attack. He sticks the landing in front of his friends. Life had helped Tide recover from the attack earlier and he was back on his feet.

Balefrost collapses on to the floor. The door glows a bright blue and opens. Balefrost continues to sparkle and simply gets up. "You've earned my respect. I wish you the best of luck."

Daybreak looked serious, he stood for a moment and took a couple of deep breaths. A tear rolled down his cheek and he moved onward through the door, he whipped it away as he entered the door. The group followed, Desire looked a bit concerned as she enters the next room

It was dark. If someone were to hold a hand out in front of them, they wouldn't be able to see it too well. As the group adjusted their eyes to darkness, the cloaked figure of Dusk seemed to be dancing to himself on the far side of the room.

Kyuubi's eyes shined and he could see through the darkness. "as expected." Shade said, Daybreak and Tide jumped a little when Shade spoke "forget I was here did you?" Shade was nearly impossible to see in the dark, the most visible parts of him where his eye's and even then they where hard to see.

Dusk stopped dancing and turned to the party. "We skeletons like to dance and party. Hehe. Sorry about that." Dusk moves in to slight view. A scepter slips from his right sleeve and into his hand. Dusk turns to allow his left arm to be seen. The bones are horribly engorged and huge. His fist drags on the floor. The left sleeve is ripped to compensate. His massive hand wields a thing of brass knuckles. "Shall we begin, my friends?"

"Alright..." Kyuubi looked a bit startled at first at the way this commander looked. With the room being exceptionally dark most of the group had trouble seeing, but some could see clearly in the dark. Shade stepped next to Kyuubi "I guess it must be my turn to put in the effort." he sighed "alright." he took a stance.

Dark energy began to accumulate on the end of the scepter and the knuckles on the fist. Dusk slowly advances towards the group, biding his time. The only visible part of Dusk's face from underneath his hood was some of his teeth.

Shade sighed and started walking casually forwards. He looked very unamused. His body suddenly gave off a faint glow and he balled his hands into fists.

The darkness finishes collecting on both weapons and Dusk attempts to break into a sprint, but suddenly trips over his hand and falls over. Dusk rolls over and rubs his head. "Awe. That hurts. Argh." Dusk doesn't seem to capable when it comes to speed.

When Dusk had tripped and looked back up Shade had somehow already made it right in front of him. He swung his foot and kicked Dusk right in the face. He spun quickly after he kicked him, he put his wrists together and thrusts his two palms in Dusk's chest aria. He let out a burst of purple energy that knocked Dusk backwards.

Dusk, clearly in pain, clearly crying, and clearly traumatized, falls over and attempts to shuffle away. The symbols on the door glow faintly with a dark blue, but the door does not open.

Shade suddenly appeared next to Dusk. He swung his fist down, it was shineing purple, and he knocked Dusk in the head. Kyuubi, who could see clearer than the rest of the group, saw everything Shade was doing either he was moving at extremely fast speeds, or he was vanishing and reappearing all over the place.

Dusk was in tears. He was terrified. His bones were breaking. "My g-gods will a-avenge m-me!" Dusk could only think of one thing to do. Giving all his remaining strength, Dusk swings his left fist and plows it straight into his own face. Every single bone in his body completely disintegrates from the attack, including the arm that dealt the damage. The only thing left of Dusk in a ragged cloak, a scepter, the metal knuckles, and bone dust. The doors fly open and the room is silent.

The group stands very still in shock. Somehow Shade was already at the door. The group slowly migrated through the door. Shade stopped "I didn't even use half my strength. Oh well." Shade shrugged and entered the next room.

The next room was entirely too bright. Surprisingly, the door was already open. Sitting in a chair next to the door was a soldier composed of solid shards of light. It was reading a book. "Just head on through. I cant stop reading this book. It's too good." It was reading a book titled "Francis of the Filth".

"...thank you..." Kyuubi said, confused, and they all walked, almost just as slow as they did in trough the last room. Sky paused for a moment to look at the book, Life grabbed him and dragged him along through the door.

The next room was entirely composed of reflective crystals. The door was the only part that wasn't. Sitting patiently on the opposite end of the room, was Diamond. The warg was patient, bit her presence was daunting.
