Company and Calamity

Hyrax growls and redirects all of his attention to the door. "Who's there?" Hyrax advances towards the door.

The thumping stops for a moment longer but then happens two more times before pausing again for another moment. Whoever was on the other side of the door didn't say anything

Hyrax rushes the door, smashing it open. "WHO GOES?" Hyrax wildly looks around.

When Hyrax looks down he sees The Hollow sitting there. It looks up at him and tilts it's head as if it was wondering what he was doing or why he was shouting.

"Oh... Its just you. I'm getting a little paranoid. I'm sorry." Hyrax smiles down at the Hollow. "You can come in if you want. If you wanted me to follow you, I'll do that too."

It steps into his room and looked around. It seemed satisfied with the way the room was set up. It looked everywhere but then looked a bit confused. It continued looking around the room and walked around.

"You're always good company to me." Hyrax follows behind the Hollow, but soon lays down and watches the Hollow.

It walked around the room as if it was looking around for something. The hollow sniffed around curiously.

"I doubt you would find anything you're looking for in here. It's just me in here. Well... You're here too." Hyrax chuckles a bit, considering playing his harp.

"Day?" it tilts its head. It appeared to be asking a question. It Sat down and took a deep breath, still smelling around.

"Day?" Hyrax thinks for a moment. "Yeah. Daybreak was here. Not too long ago, in fact." Hyrax motions towards the door, now in pieces and scattered about the hallway. "He went that way."

It seemed happy that Hyrax understood what it was trying to say. It nodded and walked over to the door, it looked out the door way, both left and right, a couple of times. Life walked past the now broken door way and paused for a moment, noticing the shards of ice strewn about the hall and the Hollow. He stepped around the Hollow and kicked the peaches of ice as he walked past. The Hollow watched him as he did so. Life continued to walk past.

"Life made tea this morning too. It was good, but seemed to energize Daybreak in some way." Hyrax rolled to his feet and approached the door... What remained of the door.

The Hollow seemed confused on what to do. Life kept walking for a while before turning too a door, he looked around a little before pushing open the door and entering the room. For a quick moment the voices of Daybreak and Desire were heard from the inside. They seemed to be having a conversation about something, but it was unclear what all that was heard for a the short moment was "-ed fragment". Before the door shut and cut off the sound.

"That's strange." Hyrax emerges from the room. "Why would he go into Desire's room right after he went to mine?" Hyrax shrugs it off. "They're always talking. I shouldn't be surprised."

The Hollow walked slowly over to the door, it sniffed around a bit as it did so. It wandered closer to the door and sat outside it, as though it was expecting it to open again. It put it's head up to the door as though it was trying to listen in on the conversation.

Curiously, Hyrax also goes to the door and sits. He knows he shouldn't eavesdrop, but information is information.

The voices are somewhat muffled behind the door and the door, being made of ice, was slightly transparent. The shadow of Daybreak was clear enough due to his shorter size but the rest of the shadows were mostly unidentifiable however. But it was clear enough to tell there was other people in the room.

Hyrax thinks for a moment and whispers to himself. "I don't think summoning help is very wise in this situation." Hyrax looks at the Hollow.

The Hollow blinks and then looked at Hyrax as well. It shakes its head "can't hear well..." it trys again any way...

Hyrax paces in front of the door, muttering to himself. Every so often, he stops and stares at the silhouettes. After a minute, Hyrax turns to the Hollow. "Did you... Want to go in?"

The Hollow listens for a moment and then turns to Hyrax and nodded slightly. "c-currious..." it stammered a bit, It listens in intently.

"Curiosity is dangerous." Hyrax curls up and lays by the Hollow, listening as well.

The voices become a bit clearer but still a bit difficult to hear as he gets closer to the door. "...I still don't quite understand it...and I can't ask him either or he might get...suspicious..." Daybreak's voice came, muffled by the door, "this all sounds...pretty bad..."

"Suspicious? Who?" Hyrax attempts to listen harder, rising to his feet.
